TWENTY-FIVE TIMES HOORAY

Yesterday was that time of year again, it was ma birthday! Yes yes, I turned 25. Twenty-five. A quarter-century! WHAAA. But you are as old as you feel right? That would make me... uh... 75? Just kidding! Unfortunately it poured all day so we didn't get the chance to lay out or make use of the pool (crazy France!) but if we may believe the weather forecast the upcoming days are gonna be insane (30 degrees and up) so that will make up for lost tanning time.

Enough about that, my birthday. My family and one of my besties who came to visit woke me up with some pretty loud birthday songs. Man, they are blessed with golden voices (NOT). I have to admit, waking up like this makes you happy. We had breakfast (three times hooray for the country that encourages carbs: une baguette s'il vous plait!), I got to open my presents (champagne, super cool Ray Ban sunnies, a silver necklace which I'm never-ever gonna take off anymore, some coconut goodies and sweet words. Also, my parents made me a slide-show with different pictures from when I was a baby till now. So sweet!

Later that afternoon we ate tarte du pomme, drank champagne, played pictionary (yes really!), ate some more, opened another bottle of champagne, watched a Despicable me, had dinner, laughed at each others stories and I ended up planking myself into the sofa. Sounds good huh? If the rain ever thought it could destroy my birthday, it was wrong, HA!
